MINISTER, MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT KHADIIJO MAHAMED DIIRIE:

I first and foremost send my condolences to the family and friends of the  charismatic late minister Mrs Khadiijo Mohamed on behalf of my family Caanogeel.
May Allah forgive and send her to heaven with the angels, Mrs Minister Khadiijo Mahamed Dirie, she was born in Balaad 2 april  1964 went to school and became a teacher in Jowhar and later worked for agricultural extention project under (FAO) a food agriculture organisation

After the civil war the minister participated in the first reunion of Somalis that begun to re construct a temporary government in Arta Djibouti, from that day to the 20th december 2023 she has been in all the different tangles, tricks of this nation, she has succesfully navigated the dirty politics of Somalia with her head high and a beutiful smile, very hamble and comedian at times.

Khadijo was first a mother then a politician, and she knew how to use both of them to survive in all these different tricks and harsh politics of Somalia, she is the only or the few that stayed in power with current or opposition group. She handled high her positions and accomplished them with atmost dignity of her own making.

The Minister Khadija will be remembered for her charity works, helping those in need everywhere without looking down to tribalism or gender, she was a bright mother who also adopted a young child in special needs  and gave him the best until she got him to overseas for special treatment.

Apart from knowing everyone’s destiny is death and can never be avoided, there are vouces that their could be a foul play in her imediate departure. A majority of Somali’s are voicing that MP Khadiija opposed and raised her concern over the manipulation of Hassan Sheikh howards the constituition, she voiced openly on the opening session of the parliament 👇

What the people agree on is legal,” said MP Khadijo Mohamed Diriye. “Who represents the people today?” she added. She emphasized that the parliament of the two Houses of Somalia is the representative of the people.

The country is represented by 320 MPs, and today, and what you decide is  where this country ends, she said.

Mrs Diriye was the only parlamentarian who had the courage to say, that there is no nationality, ‘Who is Somali?’, that there is no census, that there are no legal parties, that you do not make laws for the states that are ahead of their legitimacy, the federal system and the type that should be taken do not talk about it. “We know that the borders of Somalia are not written for us, and we know that there is no security in the country, we know that the constitution was not taken to a public referendum. Therefore, one person and one vote cannot happen”
two party system will not be legittimate abolishing the prime minister without the Somali consensos will be a failure to this parliament  and moving to a republic?,said Khadijo Mohamed Diriye.

I could not agree less with the Minister, she clearly highlighted and warned the members not to be sold like animals, she has prooven her point beyond any doubt and poited clearly to Hassan Sheikh’s deaf ears manipulating the parliament is to be stoped. She was a genuine leader, because if your leader is wrong you got to have the guts to stop him/ her no matter political affiliation.

This is beleived to have angered Hassan and his mentor Ismail Omer Geelle who is the architect of Hassan Sheikh’s way of governing, taking the same steps as the Djibouti dictator, these rumours are getting stronger and stronger, i cannot dispute them because this regime has a lot of cold blooded killers which are in the parliament and government, I cannot for crrtain proof or disaprove.

My late sister, minister,representive and mother you plated the toughest role you ever did in your last speech in parliament you were a  superstar
abd the price you paid was to leave us with a warning, you listened to the Somali voices tgeir outcry.
Even when on  your death we shall aknowledge the bravery of holding the constituition and reminding the representives of their oath to the holy KORAN and people. Farewell my sister may Allah welcome you to his home with the angels by your sides, thank you.
