Al Shabaab fighters killed Kenyan soldiers inside their camp

There are more reports of an attack that killed soldiers of the Kenyan army operating in Somalia, and this attack was claimed by the Al-Shabaab group.

The news adds that in this attack that took place on the border of Lower Juba with Kenya, three Kenyan soldiers were killed, while five other soldiers were injured, and one armed person opened fire on the Kenyan army after entered the camp mechanically.

“We believe that the gunman has been experimenting with this type of attack for some time. We have to be more careful and alert,” said the Kenyan army officer.

The Kenyan forces have finally shot the armed man, and the country’s officials are instructing their soldiers to double their security, as the New Year celebrations are approaching.

“As we approach the end of the year celebrations, we need to be more aware of our surroundings. The threat of terrorism remains widespread, and every step must be taken to curb their plans.” said the official, who asked to remain anonymous.
