The Somali police command said they have arrested a group of robbers last night in Daallo neighborhood of Howlwadaag district.
The two men who were arrested were arrested at the Hamar-Jadid Welfare Department in the Warta Nabadda district where they were committing another robbery at the time.
In a statement from the police force, it was said that two of the men in custody were arrested with two guns and a motorcycle that they used for the robbery.
“At around 10:00 pm last night, the Somali Police Force at the Warta-Nabada Police Station, Barwaqa Department in the Hamar-Jadid district seized a red Bajaj RE motorcycle with the license plate number M1D595, two suspects, their weapons and the victims of the robbery. committed,” said the statement of the Police Command.
The police force said that the arrested men will face justice, calling the victims, so that the looted items can be handed over.
