The latest news on the conflict between Rwanda and Congo

The foreign ministers of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda agreed on Saturday to strengthen efforts to reduce the tension between them and to resolve the political crisis between them.

The plan to end the crisis was signed by Rwandan President Paul Kagame and his Congolese counterpart Felix Tshisekedi.

After weeks of calm, the M23 rebels resumed their offensive at the end of October, and in recent weeks have seized more territory in Congo.
